Available Now: Let’s Learn the Months and Seasons Of The Year Learning Pack! As a homeschooling mom, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to teach the months and seasons in a way that actually sticks. With four kids, I’ve learned that not all resources are created equal, and what works for one child might not resonate with another. Most of my kiddos do well with a combination of hands-on and visual learning styles.

That’s why I decided to create the Let’s Learn the Months & Seasons of the Year learning pack. It started as a simple idea to help my own kids better understand the flow of time—months, seasons, and how they’re all connected.

Learning Made Easy

When I sat down to design this resource, I had my own kids in mind. I wanted something:

  1. Hands-On and Engaging
My kids learn best when they can touch, move, and interact with their learning tools. This resource gives them that experience—colorful pieces they can explore and manipulate as they make sense of the calendar year.
  2. Simple for Busy Parents
Life is already full of to-dos. I didn’t want to create something that added too much extra work. All I needed was a printer, a laminator, and some velcro dots. It’s easy to set up on a wall space in the home if you want to do a display, but you can also easily use the pieces for table learning.
  3. Meaningful and Fun
More than just memorizing months, I wanted my kids to see the big picture. They’re not just naming January, February, and March—they’re learning about the seasons, the weather, and the special moments that make each time of year unique.

A Resource That Works

Watching my kids interact with this resource has been so rewarding. I’ve seen their confidence grow as they not only remember the order of the months but also begin to understand how time shapes the world around us. Hearing them explain why spring means flowers or why December feels so magical? That’s the kind of learning that lasts.

Within each season, I also do nature study activities like:

  • Observing birds and animals in each season
  • Recording weather patterns throughout the year
  • Identifying different plants and how they grow through each season

There are a lot of learning opportunities to take advantage of in each season and I highly recommend the Charlotte Mason approach for this!

The Let’s Learn the Months and Season Learning Pack is Simple, Yet Effective

As a homeschooling parent, I know how valuable it is to have resources that make teaching easier—and more joyful. The kids love placing the badges in the right months and exploring the seasons in a unique way. I love that they can now keep track of when certain holidays or special events occur!

If you’re looking for a way to bring the months and seasons to life for your kids, I’d love for you to try this resource. Let’s make learning about time meaningful, memorable, and—most of all—fun.

What do your kids love most about the seasons? I’d love to hear your family’s traditions and favorite ways to celebrate the rhythm of the year!
